How to Choose The Best Location for Your Ice Cream Shop
Everyone has been told the most important thing for a retail business is “location, location, location.” You want to find the best location for your shop but … you don’t know how.
So, how do you choose the best location for your shop?
This is always a tough question to answer specifically as different location demographics and factors come in to play.
The 5 most important factors that determine a good site are as follows:
1. Traffic Patterns
2. Site Visibility
3. Access
4. Proximity
5. Appearance
6. Size
It is also important to note that ice cream is mostly sold between 4pm and 10pm. Most high foot traffic areas (malls and downtown) are generally dead during these hours, so sometimes having a high foot traffic area isn’t enough.
